Finance Manager
Leasys is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Finance Manager to join our team in Belgium. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is crucial in overseeing all financial matters in Belgium, including controlling, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury, profitability analysis, and more. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with various departments including sales, operations, risk, strategy and transformation, and HR. This position requires a top-tier profile with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Management: Oversee and manage financial operations in Belgium, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in controlling, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax and treasury functions. • Profitability Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to enhance profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance across all business units. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with local financial and tax regulations and standards. • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic finance partner to departments such as sales, operations, risk, strategy and transformation, and HR. Provide financial insights, guidance, and support to drive business decisions. • Team Leadership: Manage and develop local and remote finance teams supporting operations in Belgium. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance function. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Business Travel: Occasional business travel is required to collaborate with teams across different locations.
Requisiti
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a strong background in financial management, controlling, and analysis. Experience in the leasing or automotive industry is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or Italian is appreciated.
- Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand business operations and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
- Team Management: Experience in managing and developing finance teams. Ability to lead teams both locally and remotely in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Approach: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
